Biography
My name is Mark Jones. I have Masters and Doctoral degrees in trumpet performance from the University of Michigan. I have taught trumpet lessons to students from the beginning level through undergraduate students at colleges and universities. I have recently returned to the trumpet after taking a break from teaching and I am excited to begin working with students and adults who are interested in learning the play the instrument. In the past I have performed with the Jackson, Ann Arbor, Flint and Battle Creek symphonies in Michigan, the Milwaukee Ballet, Orquesta Synfónica de la Universidad de Guanajuato and the Mississippi symphony. My approach to trumpet development involves a strong focus on musicianship in combination with proper mechanics. Contact me:
